New Indochine Boat Cruises Lan Ha Bay

We are excited to announce the introduction of a new and improved luxury cruiser that will be based on the waters of the more exclusive southern part of Halong – Lan Ha Bay. This exquisite Indochine will be top of the range and her maiden cruise in early 2019 is fast approaching.

Lan Ha Bay is comprised of over four-hundred tropical islets with secluded sandy beaches and has managed to retain a relatively pristine environment by avoiding substantial tourist attention. Discover an array of natural wonders including Cat Ba Island – Lan Ha’s most iconic resident. This tropical oasis is the largest landmass in the Ha Long Bay complex, stretching over an area of more than 200km2. Officially recognized by UNESCO as a World Biosphere Reserve, Cat Ba is famous for its limestone mountains, extensive cave systems, tropical forests and casual island lifestyle.

New ship technologies

With a combined experience of over thirty years in the luxury cruising industry, Indochina Sails’ vessels are built to the highest of international standards, ensuring optimum comfort and safety. Such technologies include:

Activities

Each itinerary is designed to maximize holiday experience; however, these will vary depending on how long the cruise is. Our guests get to choose from a wide range of activities including: Excursions to untouched bays and private islands, Swimming, Cave kayaking, Squid fishing, Floating village exploring tours, Morning Yoga. Evening activities include an assortment of board games and film entertainment. We also offer the squid fishing, giving you the chance to experience a day in the life of a local.

Cruise & Interior

Indochine Cruise features a dining room, bar, rooftop sundeck, and fully-furnished cabins with large marble en-suite bathrooms. Spa services and Jacuzzi plunge pools are also available, separating Indochine Cruise apart from other cruise operators in Lan Ha Bay. The Indochine ship is built to the highest and safest standards whilst managing to maintain a traditional Vietnamese design for a fusion of modern comforts and cultural authenticity. Utilizing local materials and the handiwork of skilled craftsmen, no detail is left unseen.

Cabins

Certain to be the most luxurious cruiser on the bay, this new member of the Indochina Sails family will comprise of thirty-six spacious and light luxury cabins across four categories: Junior Suite (32m2); Suite (42m2); Executive Suite (54m2) and President Suite (80m2). Each cabin is constructed out of rich oak, with high windows and private balconies so that guests can make the most of the incredible views.

Lounge & Pool

In order to optimize every guests’ time on the ship, we offer a luxury and spacious “Cochinchine” lounge with Indochine Oriental style, where guests can enjoy music, relax, and adore the impressive bay views. The chill-out lounge is a perfect space to kick back, and with French doors connecting to the outdoor Jacuzzi, it’s a prime area for couples and families alike. There is also another bar located in this area, of course for optimum convenience.

Top Deck Bar & Restaurant

Our on-board ‘Tonkin’ and “Annam” restaurants are run by award winning chefs serving à la carte and set menus. Our experienced chefs provide a varied selection of Vietnamese and International cuisine with an emphasis on locally caught seafood to offer the truest taste of local cultures. Beyond the food, the architecture of the dining area adheres to a vintage colonial past with art galleries, open space and antiques. On-board bars offer a selection of Aperitifs, Spirits, Cocktails, Beer and a selection of fine Wines from around the world.

Spa & Gym

The Oriental Spa offers clients an impressive array of treatments including international, and more regionally cultural therapies. After a long day of relaxing, swimming and dining, what better way to spend an evening than being pampered by a professional south east Asian masseuse. Wind down in the treatment room amidst the haze of incense and ambient music as you gently sway to the rhythm of the bay. From full-body massages to fiveminute manicures, our experienced spa team will serve your every need. The on-board gym facilities are also available for our customers early in the morning and throughout the day.

Cave Dinner

Indochina Sails is proud to be a pioneer in hosting candle-lit dinner events in the awesome caves that litter the limestone islands. This is offered for big groups, including M.I.C.E conferences and wedding ceremonies with capacities up to 150 persons. This is a truly unique activity that we arrange like nowhere else.

Beach Dinner

Invite your own friends to join a customized dinner of your choice on a private sandy beach in Lan Ha Bay. Dine alfresco, choose your own decorations or let us surprise you with simple and elegant decorations, not to take away from the natural beauty of the bay. Feel the sand between your toes whilst you sip on a cold one whilst chatting to those you love most.

Sundeck Dinner

Food is not only a biological imperative but a crucial cultural representative. Treat yourself and share exquisite cuisine with your loved ones atop the sundeck of our classically designed French-Indochinese cruise ship. This exclusive opportunity allows guests to customize their meal, and select a theme, be it a national cuisine or a religiously inspired feast. Complete your experience with decorations, great food and drink, greater company, and a musical performance.

Floating Platform Dinner & Lunch

If guests want a truly original dining experience, we also provide a dining service on a floating island (platform). With formal decoration to complete the occasion this is a novel way to spend your evening and it’s a dining experience not easily forgotten.

Floating Bar

The floating bar is another original idea conceptualized and executed by the Indochina Sails team. Whilst our guests enjoy a kayak activity in a secluded lake only accessible through a cave, staff members bring a row boat to act as a floating bar from which everyone can enjoy a tipple whilst on their own kayaking adventure.
