Ultimate 3-Day Pu Luong Retreat

Starting at 8:00 am, you'll be picked up from your hotel by our guide and driver to begin your journey to Pu Luong Nature Reserve – a hidden gem in the North Central region of Vietnam. Along the way, you'll travel through a breathtaking mountain pass, offering a panoramic view of the entire valley. After approximately 4.5 hours of driving, you'll arrive at your accommodation, where lunch awaits.

 

Following lunch, you'll be transported to a suspension bridge over the Cham River to begin our exploration of stunning water wheels. Witness firsthand how water is ingeniously channeled from the river to handmade bamboo aqueducts. Afterward, you'll take a brief break at a local fisherman’s house before preparing for our bamboo river rafting excursion with the assistance of a local boatman. Drift along the serene river, taking in the picturesque scenery and learning how to paddle and steer your handcrafted rafts.

 

After the bamboo rafting experience, head back for dinner at your stay.

Today, after enjoying an early breakfast, begin the descent into the beautiful valley, where you'll walk among tumbling rice terraces. Trek through small paths shrouded in vegetation, slowly revealing a picturesque village nestled at the base of a towering mountain. Your camera won't be able to stay still! Continuing to the base of the valley, weave between roads and farmland, villages and wild fields, ponds and rivers, mountains, and open land. Savor the ever-changing scenery as you trek to a beautiful spot to have a simple picnic lunch. After enjoying your meal, take some free time to explore the refreshing waters of the nearby river before moving to the pickup point for transfer back to your accommodation.

This morning, you'll have the chance to get close to village life and interact with locals living in the nearby hills. Take a glimpse into daily life as you walk through working farmland and rice fields, learning about making rice wine and weaving colorful textiles. Following this experience, you'll enjoy lunch at the accommodation’s restaurant.

 

At 12:00, you will check out and say goodbye to Pu Luong Nature Reserve. Then, head back to Hanoi or to Ninh Binh. End of services.
