  • Day 1 Arrive Pakse

    Upon landing at Pakse airport, a driver will greet you and transfer you to Champasak, where you will cross the Mekong River to reach La Folie Lodge on Don Daeng Island. La Folie Lodge's wooden bungalows offer beautiful views of the water, garden, and mountains.

  • Day 2 Excursion to Si Phan Don (4000 Islands)

    Cross the Mekong by boat to reach Ban Muang pier, from where you'll take a two-hour drive to the village of Ban Nakasang. Once there, board a boat and cruise along the backwaters, exploring the enchanting Si Phan Don (4000 Islands) region. Take your time to appreciate the beauty of the surrounding islands, such as Done Khone and Don Det, and observe the traditional lifestyle of the local fishermen.

    Explore the old French villas, narrow-gauge railway, and the historic French railway bridge constructed during World War II. Wander along the packed dirt footpaths and palm-fringed villages, immersing yourself in the serene atmosphere of an Asia that seems untouched by time. Continue your journey to the impressive Lippi Falls, located to the west of Don Khone and near the Cambodian border. Here, you can take your time to soak in the awe-inspiring view. Return to the mainland by boat, making a small detour to visit Khone Phapeng Falls, known as the largest waterfall in Southeast Asia.

  • Day 3 Champasak & Vat Phou Temple

    Today, take a boat trip to Champasak, a charming town known for its ancient ruins of Vat Phou. Explore these intriguing Khmer ruins, perched at the base of Mount Phou Kao. Vat Phou, recognized as one of the Lao World Heritage sites by UNESCO in 2001, showcases a remarkable archaeological site dating back to the 5th century, predating Cambodia's renowned Angkor Wat. After your exploration of the site, enjoy a leisurely stroll through the narrow streets of Champasak town, where you can admire the many colonial-era houses, some of which are in ruins, creating a nostalgic "Indochina" atmosphere. Later, return to Done Daeng Island in time for the stunning sunset.

  • Day 4 Transfer to Pakse for Departure

    Depending on your departure time, you have the option to explore the beautiful surroundings at your leisure. Later, you will be driven to Pakse Airport for your flight to your next destination.
