Day 1 Arrive Pakse & Wat Phou Temple
Upon arrival in Pakse, you will be picked up and driven to visit the fascinating pre-Angkorian ruins of Vat Phou, one of Southeast Asia's most dramatically situated temples. There will be ample time to explore these intriguing Khmer ruins, perched at the base of Mount Phou Kao. Vat Phou is one of the Lao World Heritage sites recognized by UNESCO in 2001, and this wonderful archaeological site of Khmer civilization dates back to the 5th century, predating the famous Angkor Wat in Cambodia. After the visit, you will return to the hotel in Pakse.

Day 2 Explore Bolaven Plateau
This morning, drive to Saravanh province via Tateng. Take a refreshing tea break along the way, observing the locals' traditional tea and coffee preparation. Visit the breath-taking Tad Fan waterfall with its twin cascades and lush surroundings, immersing yourself in the natural beauty of the area. Explore the captivating landscapes, adorned with thriving coffee, tea, cardamom, and other crops, showcasing the region's agricultural abundance. Continue your adventure to Tad Lo waterfall, where you'll have the opportunity to visit the villages of Alak, Nge, and Katu, experiencing their unique cultures and traditions. Spend the night at Tadlo, where you can unwind and enjoy the tranquillity of the area.

Day 3 Explore Si Phan Don (4000 Islands)
Depart for Khone Island, taking a short detour to visit Pha Suam waterfall and explore the ethnic minority villages of Lao Teung. Continue the journey by road to Ban Nakasang and then board a traditional boat to reach Done Khone island, the largest island in the South Mekong River region, renowned as one of the most scenic areas in Laos.

Day 4 Si Phan Don (4000 Islands) & Khone Phapheng Falls
Set out to explore the beautiful surroundings of the 4000 Islands. Board your boat and cruise along the backwaters to explore Si Phan Don (4000 Islands). Admire the surrounding islands of Done Khone and Don Det and the traditional lifestyle of the fishermen. Visit the old French villas, narrow-gauge railway, and French railway bridge that was constructed during World War II. Stroll along the packed dirt footpaths and palm-fringed villages, enjoying the serenity of an Asia lost in time. Continue to the impressive Lippi Falls, on the west of Don Khone, very close to the Cambodian border. This is a perfect place to take your time and soak in the view. Return to the mainland by boat and make our way further south to visit Khone Phapheng Falls, a spectacular sight known as the largest waterfall in Southeast Asia.

Day 5 Transfer to Pakse for Departure
Depending on your departure time, you have the option to explore the beautiful surroundings at your leisure. Later, you will be driven to Pakse Airport for your flight to your next destination.
