Day 1
Arrive Siem Reap & Tonle Sap Lake Boat Excursion
On arrival at Siem Reap International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by a local guide and driven to your hotel. The vibrant city of Siem Reap will be your base for exploring the magnificent temples of Angkor, the ancient capital of the Khmer Empire.
After settling in at the hotel, embark on a tranquil, late afternoon boat cruise on Tonle Sap Lake, the largest freshwater lake in Southeast Asia. From Mechrey village, a boat will take you across the lake to the floating village, where you can observe the daily life of the lake-dwelling people and the natural beauty of the lake. Afterwards, return to Siem Reap or continue to Pouk silk farm to learn about the process of silk-making, including mulberry cultivation, silkworm farming, cocoon unravelling, preparation of the silk threads, Ikat technique (tie-dyeing threads) and silk weaving.

Day 2
Explore the Temples of Angkor
Set off on a guided tour of the temples of Angkor, including Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom and the jungle temple of Ta Prohm. The magnificent Angkor Wat is the largest ruined temple in the world. Built between AD 1113 and 1150, it is a masterpiece of Khmer architecture.
After Angkor Wat, explore the great city of Angkor Thom, the last capital of the Khmer Empire. From the South Gate of Angkor Thom, continue to Bayon temple with its carved stone faces, then to the Elephant Terrace and Leper King Terrace to discover their fascinating myths and legends.
Late afternoon, when the light is perfect for photography, visit Ta Prohm Temple, one of Angkor’s most striking buildings. Finally, enjoy a traditional Khmer Apsara dance performance with dinner at the luxurious Apsara Theatre.

Day 3
Banteay Srei Temple & Depart Siem Reap
Drive to Banteay Srei temple, 30km outside Siem Reap. Known as the Citadel of the Women, it is one of the most beautiful Angkor temples, with profound and complex carvings. On the way back to Siem Reap, visit Banteay Samre temple, at the eastern edge of Angkor, and a local village, where you can learn about rice paper and palm wine production.
After the tour, you will be driven to Siem Reap International Airport for your departure flight.
